Even though, there are hundreds of Outlook add-ins & tools roaming around, pledging lot of boxed up features and functionality, but none stand as productive & pervasive as OutlookTools. The main purpose behind it is to provide full-featured Outlook support along with allowing customizations over Outlook advance settings under one hood. It encapsulates multitude of options to make the Outlook optimize instantly without indulging yourself in complex operations & tweaking with registry keys.

Primarily it is focused on providing easy access to Outlook; settings, data folders, troubleshooting options & tools and so on. Now with OutlookTools you don't need to look for special switches to start Outlook with minimal resources, it includes multitude of start-up switches to make Outlook launch with them.
Providing special options, it also let users clear different kind of MRU list including; visited locations, recent searches, stationary files, and many others. Though you can do it without this tool but it would require registry tweaking which can be potentially dangerous & tedious too. Blocking attachments always stands a problem, but not with OutlookTools any more, yes it provides list of file formats to block. Just enable checkbox(es) of desired file formats to block them.
It's main interface is pretty simple having nice tabbed layout. Aforementioned features & options are dispersed in multiple tabs. However, on it's launch, General tab will open up, allowing you to view main Outlook data file locations such as; PSTs, OSTs, Archive files, Temp files for attachments, etc. For those who struggle finding Outlook build-in tools such as; ScanPst, ScanOst, it provides the direct access to these tools from General tab. Other options are also provided for minimizing Outlook in notification area and plain text mail loading.
